After 2 months of research, we present you some of the best ways to give your web site a traffic boost. In a series, we will publish some of the best tips that the web site gurus use themselves. Mentioned in one other article, blogs are an excellent way to get traffic, especially from those whose topics are similar and relevant to yours. Do a quick search, type forums or blogs related to your topic related to your topic, and post comments and give useful information so that your credibility will be increased. This in turn will encourage people in the similar ‘trade’ to visit your web site. Besides gaining some useful information on managing your web site since the topics are relevant and similar, you created some precious back links from other web sites. Inevitably, over a period time, your web site will be ranked higher.
Next, understand that Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and Live send out spiders to crawl the web site and get information about web pages so they may be included in their directories. If the spider happens to crawl to your web site and cannot detect any anchor keywords, then off it goes to another web site, possibly ranking that page higher than yours. So what do we do? Remember, in my opinion, html is the better way about. Not only do these spiders read html language, linking pages using html and hyperlinks will increase the relevance to the web site in the eyes of Google. Especially for those eager to carve a Google Adsense venture, keywords are very important. Make them readable so that these spiders can read them, so that you can be ranked higher. As far as possible, leave animations to other less important aspects. Animations should be done away for keywords, especially anchor keywords. Lastly, not the big three as those in World War 2. The big three are the Google, Yahoo and Live. As mentioned in the other articles on the way to get your web site indexed by the Search Engines, besides submitting them to diggs.com, submit them to the major search engines too. For Google, doing with digg.com will be more than sufficient. Three days is more than enough-your web site will get indexed usually by then. For Yahoo, visit here https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit . You must have a Yahoo account. If you do not, you can easily create one at www.yahoo.com . Register for an email account and use that id for submission. Since Microsoft has not bought over Yahoo, Live is still an independent source, hence you must still manually submit to them. Visit http://search.msn.co.in/docs/submit.aspx and submit accordingly. Best of all, these are free ways to get extra boost for those who want to start Google Adsense web sites with minimal costs. Ensure your web site has a certain number of content pages before submitting, so you will rank higher the moment your web site gets indexed.
