Increasing the Number of Clicks on your Adsense Ads
Higher traffic translates higher clicks and eventually to higher Adsense revenue, right? Maybe, but not so. In the first line, higher traffic does not simply translates to higher clicks because there are other factors which affect the CTR (Click Through Ratio). Well put it simply, you may have 1million unique visitors to one Adsense website but translates to only 10 people clicking on the ads, whereas another website may have 1000 unique visitors, however out of this 1000, 10 people click on the ads, does it really mean that the higher the traffic, the higher your Adsense revenue? Not quite so. The CTR depends on other more important factors such as the quality of traffic and the relevance of the ads that are displayed. If these terms seem alien to you, fear not, this article is here to clear things up, and also more importantly, these are inalienable factors you must take in account when creating your Adsense website. As a general rule of thumb, the more technical the website, the lower the CTR. However, there are exceptions when your content is well written. For example, website tutorials on appropriate techniques for playing golf may attract fewer clicks since the ads are usually less relevant. However, if the website is selling some golf equipment, then the ads that appear will also feature the similar websites selling golf equipment, and the visitor will want to click them so as to seek out the lowest price.
• An old but very important Adage

According to the heat map, lacing your ads strategically at these areas will translate to a higher CTR. Optimize your ads by placing them within the body of the content because the darker the area, the higher the CTR. Furthermore, when ads are placed near rich content, the ads that appear will be more relevant as detected by Google’s ad algorithms.
• Getting Targeted Traffic
It is important to get traffic that is interested in your content, because if someone is interested in your content is also interested in the ads that appear. Simple logic. On the contrary, if he traffic is not targeted, visitors are less interested in the content, so even when an alluring ad appears, chances of them clicking the ad diminish. Gathering targeted traffic is simple. It includes the usual website advertising and effective optimization of the website structure. Backlinks from relevant sites, effective webpage titles and search engine optimization are some ways. More importantly, you must structure your web content in a most user friendly way as possible. • Choose the right keywords
Choosing the right anchor text that links your website from other relevant sites is also important. It increase the relevance of the visitors who visit your website because a keyword that aptly describes your website will increase the CTR. Imagine clicking on a keyword that reads “Secrets to Successful Golfing” and finding yourself landing on a page which sells golf equipment. Sure the topic is all the same – Golf, but the focus is different, get what I mean? By targeting appropriately, you will most likely increase your CTR and when these satisfied visitors do oral marketing for you, you can imagine the exponential increase. • Choose the right title text
This text appear in the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) that describes your website. This is the text which the visitors will base your website on and whether they visit your website or not depends on how relevant the title text is to their needs. Know the niche of your website.
